Do Follow Blogs are blogs that have had the "no follow" tags removed from the code of the body and/or the comments section. The "no follow" tag instructs a bot to not follow the link. When a bot sees a no follow tag, they do not give the link any weight. That means the link will not appear in the bot's search engine. In order to give readers an added benefit for leaving comments, many blog owners have removed their "no follow" tags from their comments. What does that mean to you? Well, if you find a do follow blog and leave a meaningful comment on their blog, it will show up as a backlink on the search engines.
How can I use do follow blogs to get backlinks to my hub?
In order to use do follow blogs to get more backlinks to your hubs you need to:
- Find Do Follow blogs that are relevant to your hub's topic.
- You need to use a url shortener to make your hub's link more compact. The url shortener I have included is great because you can also make money with it!
- Leave meaningful comments on the appropriate blogs. Do not leave the url in the content of your comment. Use the username area to use an appropriate anchor text. For example, when leaving a comment on a golf blog use great golf supllier or something relevant to your hub.
- Do not post on every do follow blog on day one. Try not to create more than 5 links a day. Why? You do not want Google to put your site in the dreaded sandbox.
- To get even more out of your link, add that post (you added the comment on) to your favorite social bookmarking sites. Don't skip this step. It really works and the blog owner will love it too! (I usually let them know in the comment that I loved the post so much that I'm going to tweet it, stumble it or digg it too.)
- Get as many links from as many ip addresses as possible, After awhile, the search engines will realize all your links are coming from the same places. You need to have links from blogs as well as social bookmarking sites, social media sites, article directories and forums!
If you take a look at the photo below, you will see an example of a link I left on a do follow blog. That blog has a high page rank, so it shows up high on the first page of Google. Leaving comments on do follow blogs is a great, free way to get links and improve your page rank. thanks for this information. but i am confused according to you we do't make more than 5 links in a single day, if we are using onlywire for bookmarking, it submit link at least 22-25 social networking sites, please tell me it is right or wrong.
What I mean is don't make a ton of blog comments in one day. If you make 5-6 blog comments a day (in addition to your social bookmarking sites), it looks more natural.
By the way, you should spread out your bookmarks over several days. If you add your url to all the bookmarking sites in one day, it may set off a red flag and your site may end up in the Google sandbox.

Great points. I haven’t done a search for dofollow blogs in quite some time. I just focus on commenting on the 100-150 blog posts (dependent on updates) that occupy my rss feed everyday. However, I’m also trying to build a reputation within a community. I’m surprised more people haven’t followed this model… But I guess a lot of us are still after the quick fix these days.

well, yeah. do follow does follow and no-follow kinda doesn't. But unfortunately Google changed the algorithms and some do-follow links won't help even if it's from a very high PR page.
